Test 21: Back Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit: Testing
- Check operation of door unlock detection switch. See POWER DOOR LOCKS - TRUCKS article. If door unlock detection switch operates properly, go to step 2. If door unlock detection switch is faulty, replace door lock motor.
- Check for faulty connectors and wiring between door unlock detection switch and back door ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed in appropriate SYMPTOM INDEX table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
