Tailgate Switch
Check continuity of tailgate switch. There should be continuity between terminals No. 2 and 3 when switch is in UP position and between terminals No. 1 and 3 when switch is in DOWN position. See Fig 1. There should be no continuity when switch is in OFF position. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
