Test No. 13: Door Lock Motor & Relay Circuit

  1. Check door lock relay and door lock motor for appropriate door. See appropriate POWER DOOR LOCKS article. Replace faulty components as necessary. If door lock relay and door lock motor are okay, go to next step.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between door lock relays and body Electronic Control Unit (ECU). See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair connectors or wiring as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
