Test No. 4: Rear Wiper/Washer Switch Circuit: Testing
- Check operation of rear wiper and washer switch. See appropriate WIPER/WASHER SYSTEMS article. If rear wiper and washer switch operates properly, go to next step. If rear wiper and washer switch is defective, replace switch assembly.
- Check for faulty connectors and wiring between rear wiper and washer switch and body ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING. If connectors or wiring are defective, repair as necessary.
