Test No. 6: Headlight Switch Circuit

  1. Check operation of headlight switch. See appropriate STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article. If headlight switch operates properly, go to next step. If headlight switch is defective, replace headlight switch.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between headlight switch and body Electronic Control Unit (ECU). See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
