Test No. 6: Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit: Testing
- Check operation of door unlock detection switch. See POWER DOOR LOCKS - CARS article. If door unlock detection switch operates properly, go to next step. If door unlock detection switch is defective, replace door unlock detection switch.
- Check for faulty connectors and wiring between door unlock detection switch and body ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
