Test No. 7: Door Key Lock & Unlock Switch Circuit: Testing
- Check operation of appropriate door key lock and unlock switch. See POWER DOOR LOCKS - CARS article. If door key lock and unlock switch operates properly, go to next step. If door key lock and unlock switch is defective, replace door key lock and unlock switch.
- Check for faulty connectors and wiring between appropriate door key lock and unlock switch and body Electronic Control Unit (ECU). See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
