Test No. 11: Door Lock Control Switch Circuit: Testing

  1. Check operation of door lock control switch. See POWER DOOR LOCKS - TRUCKS article. If door lock control switch operates properly, go to next step. If door lock control switch does not operate properly, replace door lock control switch.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between door lock control switch and body Electronic Control Unit (ECU). See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
