Test No. 6: Ignition Key Unlock Warning Switch Circuit: Testing

Check operation of ignition key unlock warning switch. See IGNITION KEY UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If key unlock warning switch operates properly, go to next step. If key unlock warning switch is defective, replace key unlock warning switch.
Check continuity of Yellow/Red wire between terminal No. 2 of body ECU 23-pin harness connector and terminal No. 2 of key unlock warning switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
