Inspection Procedure

- Check POWER and JCB M-fuses, and MPX-B and ECU-IG fuses.
CHECK:
Check the continuity of the POWER and JCB M-fuses, and MPX-B and ECU-IG fuse.
OK:
- Continuity
- NG: Replace failure fuse.
- OK: Go to next step
- Check voltage between terminals POWE/ECU-B/IG and GND of back door ECU connector.
PREPARATION:
Turn the ignition switch ON.
CHECK:
Measure the voltage between terminals IG and GND.
OK:
- Voltage: 10-14 V
PREPARATION:
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the back door ECU connector.
CHECK:
Measure the voltage between terminals POWE/ECU-B and GND.
OK:
- Voltage: 10 - 14 V
- OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
- NG: Go to next step
- Check HARNESS AND CONNECTOR BETWEEN BACK DOOR ECU AND BODY GROUND

- NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
- OK: Check and repair harness and connector between back door ECU and battery.
