Keyless Entry Systems: Programming: Notes

NOTE: Ensure key is not in ignition switch and driver's door is open. Close and lock all other doors. ADD mode allows additional remote transmitters to be registered up to a maximum of 4. Attempting to register more than 4 remote transmitters will cause the first remote transmitter registered to be erased. CONFIRMATION mode is used to determine how many remote transmitters are currently registered. REWRITE mode erases previous codes on all remote transmitters and recodes them. PROHIBITION mode disables keyless door lock function by erasing all remote transmitter codes when all remote transmitters become lost or damaged.
