- Flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut. See Fig 1.
- Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2-4 seconds per one turn and take the reading on the 5th turn.
- The reading should be 0.4-17.4 INCH lbs. (0.05-1.96 N.m).
