Setting/Unsetting Auto Lock Function: Avalon
NOTE:
Auto lock function is activated or deactivated when body ECU receives inputs in a given sequence.
- With ignition switch in ON position, open driver's door. Turn ignition switch off and remove key. Insert key into ignition lock cylinder, turn ignition switch on, turn ignition switch off, and remove key from ignition lock cylinder. Repeat inserting, turning ignition switch on and off, and removing ignition key from ignition lock cylinder a total of 5 times within 10 seconds.
- Press unlock side of door lock manual switch 5 times within 10 seconds after completion of step 1. The function is deactivated 10 seconds later.
