Speed Sensor Front LH: Replacement

NOTE: Replace the RH side by the same procedures with LH side.

Remove front wheel .
Remove front fender liner LH .
Remove speed sensor front LH .
1. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

2. Remove the 2 clamp bolts holding the sensor harness and clamp from the body and shock absorber.

3. Remove the bolt and speed sensor FR LH.

NOTE: Do not stick any foreign matter on the sensor tip.
Install speed sensor front LH .
1. Install the speed sensor FR LH with the bolt.

  Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
  
  NOTE: Do not stick and foreign matter on the sensor tip.
2. Install the sensor harness clamps with the 2 bolts "A" and "B" to the body and shock absorber.
  Torque:
  1. Bolt A: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)
  2. Bolt B: 29 N.m (296 kgf.cm, 21 ft.lbf)
3. Connect the clamp to the knuckle.

4. Connect the speed sensor connector.

Install front fender liner LH .
Install front wheel .
1. Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)
Check ABS speed sensor signal (See PRE-CHECK .
