Circuit Description

For circuit description, see DTC P0115: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION . Detecting conditions of DTC are:

• When THW is 95-140°F (35-60°C) and THA is greater than or equal to 19.9°F (-6.7°C) when starting engine, the following conditions continue (2 trip detection logic):
  1. Vehicle speed is changing (not stable).
  2. THW change is lower than 37°F (3°C) from THW since when starting the engine.
• If the reading value of water temperature sensor will not change more than 34°F (1°C) even after repeating 6 trips (detection logic) of adjusting speed pattern with THW more than 140°F (60°C) when the engine starts.
