Inspection Procedure

  1. Check ECU-IG1 and AM1 fuse. 

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of ECU-IG1 and AM1 fuse.

    OK: 

    Continuity 

    1. NG: Replace faulty fuse. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. Check voltage between terminals CPUB, SIG, BDR and GND of power window master switch connector. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Turn the ignition switch OFF.

    CHECK: 

    Measure the voltage between terminals CPUB, SIG, BDR and GND.

    OK: 

    Voltage: 10 - 14V 

    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   . 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between power window master switch and body ground (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC TABLE AND INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   .
