Possible Causes

DTC is set when, with ignition switch ON and brake pedal released, STP and STP- signals are both OFF for 0.5 second or more. Possible causes are:
- Stoplight switch signal circuit is shorted.
- Defective stoplight switch.
- Defective ECM.
