How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedure on the following pages.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK   ) 
    1. Without applicable symptoms, proceed to "A".
    2. With applicable symptoms, proceed to "B".
    1. B Go to   4 
    2. A: Go To Next Step. 
  3. SYMPTOM SIMULATION 
  4. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ) 
    1. Without applicable symptoms, proceed to "A".
    2. With applicable symptoms, proceed to "B".
    1. B Go to   5 
    2. A: Go To Next Step. 
  5. CIRCUIT INSPECTION AND PART INSPECTION (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ) 
  6. PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING IN THE FOLLOWING METHOD, DEPENDING ON MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM 
    1. Terminals of ECU (SeeTERMINALS OF ECU  )
    2. On-vehicle inspection (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  7. ADJUSTMENT, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT 
  8. CONFIRMATION TEST 
    1. END
