Circuit Description

For circuit description, see CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION under DTC P0100, P0102 OR P0103. DTC is set when engine is warmed up, throttle valve is fully closed and mass airflow meter output is more than 2.2 volts with engine speed less than 900 RPM (2 trip detection logic) for more than 10 seconds. DTC will also set with engine off, VTA voltage .1 volt or more and mass airflow meter output is less than .25 volt (2 trip detection logic) for more than 6 seconds. Possible cause is a faulty mass airflow meter.
