Section 252 (Charging System - Generators & Regulators): Generator: Removal

Remove Drive Belt

Loosen the pivot bolt, adjusting lock bolt and adjusting bolt, and remove the drive belt.

Torque:
1. Lock bolt: 18 N.m (180 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
2. Pivot bolt: 56 N.m (570 kgf.cm, 41 ft.lbf)
Remove Generator
1. Disconnect the generator connector.
2. Remove the nut, and disconnect the generator wire.
  Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 86 in.lbf)
3. Disconnect the wire harness from the clip.
4. Remove the pivot bolt, plate washer, adjusting lock bolt and generator.
