Inspection Procedure

  1. Check RSE ECU. 

    PREPARATION:

    Disconnect the RSE ECU.

    CHECK:

    Check the voltage of terminal +B.

    OK:

    1. +B: 10 - 14 V 

    CHECK:

    Check the voltage of terminal ACC when the ignition switch is in ACC or ON position.

    OK:

    1. ACC: 10 - 14 V 

    CHECK:

    Check continuity at terminal GND.

    OK:

    1. GND: Continuity 
    1. NG : Replace or repair harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Go To Next Step. 

  2. Check wire harness between rear display and RSE ECU. 

    PREPARATION:

    Disconnect the connector rear display and RSE ECU.

    CHECK:

    Check continuity of wire harness.

    OK:

    1. Continuity 
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Go To Next Step. 

  3. Check rear display. 

    PREPARATION:

    Disconnect the rear display.

    CHECK:

    Check the voltage of terminal BU+B.

    OK:

    1. +B: 10 - 14 V 

    CHECK:

    Check the voltage of terminal ACC when the ignition switch is in ACC or ON position.

    OK:

    1. ACC: 10 - 14 V 

    CHECK:

    Check continuity at terminal GND.

    OK:

    1. GND: Continuity 
    1. NG : Replace or repair harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Go To Next Step. 

  4. Check RSE ECU. 

    CHECK:

    Check the malfunction disappears when a good RSE ECU in quality is installed.

    OK:

    1. Malfunction disappear 
    1. OK : Replace RSE ECU. 
    2. NG : Repair or replace rear display.
