Inspection Procedure

CHECK HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY (LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH) (See INSPECTION )
1. NG: REPLACE HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY (LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH)
2. OK: Go To Next Step
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TVIP ECU <--> LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH)

1. Disconnect the TVIP ECU and light control switch connectors.
2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the TVIP ECU connector and light control switch connector, as shown in the illustration and table.
  Standard:

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
2. OK: Go To Next Step
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH <--> BODY GROUND)

1. Disconnect the light control switch connector.
2. Check the continuity between the terminal of the light control switch connector and the body ground, as shown in the illustration and table.
  Standard:

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
2. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE TVIP ECU (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
