Circuit Description

When engine speed reaches 6200 RPM, Variable Valve Timing and Lift (VVTL) system switches locker arm from low speed to high speed. ECM controls Oil Control Valve (OCV) to apply hydraulic pressure to piston in locker are and switch locker arm by locking slipper for high speed.
