Inspection Procedure

- CHECK FUSE (PWR SEAT)
- Remove the PWR SEAT fuse from driver side J/B.
- Measure the resistance.
Standard: Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step.
- INSPECT POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSY
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE)
- Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard:
- Measure the resistance of each terminal, as shown in Fig 5 and Fig 4.

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step.
- Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.
- INSPECT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSY (LUMBAR)
- Check that the motor rotates smoothly when the battery is connected to the lumbar support adjuster motor connector terminals.

NG: REPLACE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSY (See OVERHAUL )
OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSY - POWER SEAT MOTOR)
- Check that the motor rotates smoothly when the battery is connected to the lumbar support adjuster motor connector terminals.
