Deceleration Sensor Signal Check (4WD)

CAUTION: DO NOT apply voltage of 6 volts or more to terminals.
  1. Connect 3 dry batteries of 1.5 volts in series. Connect terminal VGS to batteries' positive (+) terminal, and terminal GGND to batteries' negative (-) terminal. Apply about 4.5 volts to terminals VGS and GGND. Check output voltage of terminal GL1. See Fig 1.
    NOTE: If the sensor is tilted a lot, it may show the wrong value. If dropped, the sensor should be replaced. When sensor is removed from vehicle, it should NOT be placed upside down.
