Heater Control Assembly: Installation

INSTALL HEATER CONTROL ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the 2 connectors to the heater control assembly.
2. Pass through the A/C control cables as shown in the illustration.

3. Install the heater control assembly with the 2 screws.

INSTALL CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
1. w/o Radio:
  1. Install the stereo opening cover with the 4 bolts.
  2. w/ Radio:
  3. Connect the connectors and install the radio with the 4 bolts.
2. Install the instrument cluster finish panel with the 4 bolts.
CONNECT HEATER CONTROL CABLES
1. Set the temperature control dial at "MAX. COOL" position.
2. Set the mode control dial at "FACE" position.
3. Adjust the air mix damper control cable.
  1. Set the air mix damper control lever at "MAX. COOL" position, connect the inner cable to the lever pin and lock the outer cable to the clamp.

  NOTE: Lock the clamp while lightly pulling the outer cable to the direction shown by arrow in the illustration.
4. Adjust the mode control cable.
  1. Set the mode control lever at "FACE" position, connect the inner cable to the lever pin and lock the outer cable to the clamp.
  NOTE: Lock the clamp while lightly pulling the outer cable to the direction shown by arrow in the illustration.
5. Install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover subassembly.
