Possible Causes
- With ETCS - DTC is set when the difference between VTA and VTA2 is out of threshold for 2 seconds or more. Possible causes are a defective TP sensor.
- Without ETCS - DTC is set after vehicle speed is more than 19 MPH once and TP sensor output voltage is out of range while vehicle speed is 0-19 MPH. Possible cause is defective TP sensor. This DTC uses two-trip detection logic.
