Power Mirror Control System: Inspection
- INSPECT OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSY
- The L side of the left/right adjustment switch:
Check the mirror switch resistance.
Standard (left side):
TERMINAL CONNECTION (LEFT SIDE)Terminal Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 - 8
6 - 7UP Below 1 Ω 4 - 7
6 - 8DOWN Below 1 Ω 5 - 8
6 - 7LEFT Below 1 Ω 5 - 7
6 - 8RIGHT Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.
- The R side of the left/right adjustment switch:
Check the mirror switch resistance.
Standard (right side):
TERMINAL CONNECTION (RIGHT SIDE)Terminal Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 - 8
6 - 7UP Below 1 Ω 3 - 7
6 - 8DOWN Below 1 Ω 2 - 8
6 - 7LEFT Below 1 Ω 2 - 7
6 - 8RIGHT Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.
- The L side of the left/right adjustment switch:
- INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY LH
- Disconnect the mirror connector.
- Apply battery voltage to the mirror terminals and check operation of the mirror face, as shown in MIRROR OPERATION TABLE and Fig 2

Standard:

- INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY RH
- Disconnect the mirror connector.
- Apply battery voltage to the mirror terminals and check operation of the mirror face, as shown in MIRROR OPERATION TABLE and Fig 3
