YAWRATE Sensor: Replacement

NOTE:

Do not use the yawrate sensor if it is dropped or damaged.
Prevent foreign matter from attaching between the yawrate sensor bracket and body.
Confirm the sensor direction is correct.

REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (See OVERHAUL (POWER SEAT TYPE) or OVERHAUL (MANUAL SEAT TYPE) )
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE YAWRATE SENSOR PROTECTOR
1. Remove the bolt and the sensor protector.

REMOVE YAWRATE SENSOR
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and the yawrate sensor.
NOTE: Do not remove the yawrate sensor from the yawrate sensor bracket.

INSTALL YAWRATE SENSOR
1. Install the yawrate sensor with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 14 NVm (143 kgfVcm, 10 ft.Vlbf)
2. Connect the connector.

INSTALL YAWRATE SENSOR PROTECTOR
1. Install the sensor protector with the bolt.
  Torque: 14 NVm (143 kgfVcm, 10 ft.Vlbf)

INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH
INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (See OVERHAUL (POWER SEAT TYPE) or OVERHAUL (MANUAL SEAT TYPE) )
PERFORM YAWRATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (See PRE-CHECK )
CHECK IN THE TEST MODE (See PRE-CHECK )
