With Hand-Held Tester

  1. Hook up the hand-held tester to the DLC3. See Figure.
  2. Start the engine and check that the ABS warning light blinks. If the ABS warning light does not blink, inspect the ABS warning light circuit and Ts circuit. See SYSTEM TESTING .
  3. Drive the vehicle straight forward and faster than 28 mph (45 km/h) for several seconds. Check that the ABS warning light comes off.
  4. Stop the vehicle. Read the DTC by following prompts on the tester screen. Refer to the hand-held tester operator's manual for further details.
  5. Stop the engine.
