Using Open Door Indicator Light

NOTE: DTCs are 2 digit numbers.
  1. Using Diagnosis Check Wire (SST 09843-18020), connect terminals 11 (Tc) and 3 (E1) of the DLC1 located in the combination meter ECU. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION .
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
  3. Read and record the DTC on the open door indicator light. See Fig 1 for DTC output examples.
  4. Check for the problem using the DTC table. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE INDEX .
  5. After completing the check, turn the ignition switch off and disconnect terminals Tc and E1.
