Washer Linked Operation

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Black 18-pin electrical harness connector from wiper/washer switch at bottom of upper steering column bracket. Remove wiper/washer switch. Using fused jumper wires, connect battery voltage and a DVOM as shown in STEP 1 of illustration. See Figure.
  2. Depress washer switch and monitor DVOM voltage readings. Voltage reading should change from zero volts to battery voltage within one second of depressing washer switch. If reading is not as specified, replace wiper/washer switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
