Blower Motor Control Relay: Inspection

  1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR 
  2. REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL RELAY 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the screw and blower motor control relay.

  3. INSPECT BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT 

    Inspect the wire harness side connector from the back side, as shown in the chart.

    Test conditions:

    • Turn ignition switch to ON
    • Operate blower motor (High blower speed)

    If resistance is not as specified, replace the blower motor control relay.

  4. INSTALL BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL RELAY 
    1. Install the blower motor control relay with the screw.
    2. Connect the connectors.
  5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR
