Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK FUSE (ECU-B FUSE) 
    1. Remove the ECU-B fuse from the driver side J/B.
    2. Check that the continuity exists of ECU-B fuse.
    1. NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN HEATER CONTROL HOUSING SUB-ASSY AND BATTERY) 
    1. Remove the A/C amplifier with connector.
    2. Measure voltage according to the value(s) in TERMINAL CONDITION SPECIFICATION  .

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL CONDITION SPECIFICATION

      Terminal No. Condition Specified Condition
      A13-20 (B) - A13-1 (GND) Always 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
