Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK FUSE (HTR FUSE) 
    1. Remove the HTR fuse from the driver side J/B.
    2. Check that the continuity exists of HTR fuse.
    1. NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN HEATER CONTROL HOUSING SUB-ASSY AND BATTERY) 
    1. Remove the A/C amplifier assy with connectors still connected.
    2. Measure voltage according to the value (s) in TESTER CONNECTED CONDITION SPECIFICATION  .

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTED CONDITION SPECIFICATION

      Tester connected Condition Specified condition
      A13-19 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      A13-19 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch OFF 0 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
