Power Latch: Removal

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Open the hood, disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to LIFTGATE .
  4. Disconnect the power latch electrical connector.
  5. Remove the power latch retaining bolts (Figure) and remove the latch assembly from the liftgate.
