Section 973 (Power Liftgate System): Hinge: Removal

- Release liftgate latch and open liftgate.
- Support liftgate on a suitable lifting device in the full open position.
- Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the hinge location.
- Remove nuts attaching liftgate hinge to roof header (Fig 1 ).
- Remove bolts attaching hinge to liftgate.
- Remove hinge from vehicle.
