Inspection Procedure

  1. DISPLAY CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SIGNAL CHECK) 
    1. Perform display check.
      1. Set up diagnosis system and read result of display vehicle signal check mode.

        Standard: Input signal is normal (TAIL) 

    1. OK: Go to step   3 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  2. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSY (ILL+,ILL-) 
    1. Remove the navigation receiver assy and disconnect the connector.
    2. Check voltage.
      1. Measure voltage between terminals ILL+ and ILL- of navigation receiver assy at each conditions, as shown in HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH POSITION CONDITION .

        Standard: 

        HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH POSITION CONDITION

        Headlight dimmer switch position Condition
        OFF 0V
        TAIL or HEAD 10 - 14V
    3. Check continuity.
      1. Check that the continuity exists between terminal ILL- of navigation receiver assy and body ground.

        Standard: Continuity exists 

    1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSY 
    2. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
  3. CHECK SETTING 
    1. Check the settings.
      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      2. Turn the power switch of the navigation receiver assy to ON to display the map.
      3. Operate the navigation receiver assy, and check that "The color of night screen is standard" is set at the navigation condition setting.

        Standard: The setting is normal 

    1. NG: THE SETTING IS ABNORMAL 
    2. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSY
