Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK DOOR LOCK (Refer to  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG: REPLACE DOOR LOCK 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TVIP ECU <--> DOOR LOCK) 
    1. Disconnect the TVIP ECU and door lock connector.
    2. Check the continuity between the terminal of the TVIP ECU connector and door lock connector, as shown in Fig 2 and Fig 1.

    Standard:

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR LOCK <--> BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the door lock connector.
    2. Check the continuity between the terminal of the door lock connector and the body ground, as shown in Fig 3 and TESTING DOOR LOCK CONTINUITY .

    Standard: 

    TESTING DOOR LOCK CONTINUITY

    Test Between Terminals No. Specified Condition
    D11-7 <--> Body Ground Continuity
    D12-8 <--> Body Ground Continuity

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE TVIP ECU (Refer to  ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
