Possible Causes

This DTC uses two-trip detection logic. DTC is set when heated oxygen sensor (Bank 1 & 2 Sensor 2) heater current draw exceeds 2 amps or is 0.2 amp or less when heater operates. Possible causes are:
- Heated oxygen sensor (Bank 1 &/or 2 Sensor 2) circuit is open or shorted.
- Defective heated oxygen sensor (Bank 1 &/or 2 Sensor 2).
- Defective ECM.
