Code Definition
- DTC P0120: Throttle Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit
- DTC P0122: Throttle Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit Low Input
- DTC P0123: Throttle Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit High Input
- DTC P0220: Throttle Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit
- DTC P0222: Throttle Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit Low Input
- DTC P0223: Throttle Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit High Input
- DTC P2135: Throttle Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A/B" Voltage Correlation
CAUTION:
If Engine Control Module (ECM) replacement is instructed in following test, always ensure ECM electrical connectors and ground circuits are okay. If either are defective, repair and repeat testing to confirm ECM malfunction.
NOTE:
If DTCs related to TPS, IAT sensor, MAF meter, ECT sensor, APP sensor & VPS are output simultaneously, the E2 sensor ground circuit at ECM 31-pin connector E7 terminal No. 11 (Black/White wire) may be open. For ECM electrical connector terminal identification, see Figure. It may be necessary to check Black/White wire between splice I13 and ECM 31-pin connector E7 terminal No. 11. Splice I13 is located behind passenger's side of instrument panel. See Figure.
