Diagnosis & Repair

NOTE: Using hand-held tester or scan tool, read FREEZE FRAME data. Freeze frame data records engine conditions when malfunction is detected.

Check for any DTC(s) other than DTC P2A00. If other DTCs are set, perform troubleshooting on those first. Then, recheck. If only DTC P2A00 is set, begin diagnosis and repair at step 3)  in DTC P2195, DTC P2196, DTC P2237, DTC P2238 &/OR DTC P2239 . See Figure-Figure . For circuit wiring diagram, see Figure.

For access to, or replacement of ECM, Engine Control Module (ECM) is located behind glove box. See Figure. For ECM connector view, see Figure.
