Possible Causes

DTC is set when heater operates, heater current exceeds 2 amps. Or when heater current of 0.20 or less when heater operates. Possible causes are:
- A/F sensor circuit is open or shorted.
- Defective A/F sensor.
- Defective A/F sensor heater.
- Defective A/F sensor heater and relay circuit.
- Air induction system malfunction.
- Defective PCV hose connection.
- Defective PCV valve and hose.
- Improper fuel pressure.
- Defective fuel injector.
- Exhaust system leak.
- Vehicle has run out of fuel.
- Defective EFI main relay.
- Defective ECM.
- Defective Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve hose or connection.
