Variable Valve Lift System: Notes

NOTE: Variable Valve Lift (VVL) system may also be referred to as Variable Valve Timing Lift Intelligent (VVTL-I or VVTL-i) system.

NOTE: If problem exists in VVL system, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be stored in Engine Control Module (ECM). See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article for retrieving of DTCs.
