Fuel EVAP System Test (Tundra)

NOTE: Manufacturer provides testing information for testing airtightness of fuel tank and components along with testing of charcoal canister and fuel EVAP system.

For fuel EVAP system test, see Fig 1-Fig 6 . To inspect charcoal canister filter, see DTC P0441, P0442, P0446 & P0456: EVAP EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - Tundra V6. To inspect VSV for EVAP, see EVAP VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (ALL MODELS) . To inspect VSV for Canister Closed Valve, see CANISTER CLOSED VALVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (TUNDRA & 4RUNNER) . To inspect vapor pressure sensor, see appropriate VAPOR PRESSURE SENSOR.
