Test No. 9: One Taillight Does Not Operate

  1. Remove and examine taillight bulb which is not operating. If taillight bulb is okay, go to next step. If taillight bulb is defective, replace taillight bulb. After repairs, perform confirmation test. See CONFIRMATION TEST .
  2. Check wiring harness and electrical connectors for taillight which does not operate. See EXTERIOR LIGHTS in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Repair wiring harness or electrical connector as necessary. After repairs, perform confirmation test. See CONFIRMATION TEST .
