Diagnostic Procedure

- Check the wiring harness. On vehicles without a navigation system, disconnect connector I16 or on vehicles with a navigation system, disconnect connector I18 of the center cluster integration panel T5 of the anti-theft ECU and C11 of the A/C and combination meter integrated ECU.

- Check the continuity between terminal No. 12 (MPX-) of the center cluster integration panel and terminal No. 21 (MPX+) of the A/C and combination meter integrated ECU. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION .
- Check the continuity between terminal No. 17 (MPX-) of the A/C and combination meter integrated ECU and terminal No. 10 (MPX1) of the driver door ECU.
- The results are OK if there is continuity in the wiring harness of both step (a) and (b), or either step (a) or (b). If there is an open in the wiring harness of either step (a) or (b), repair it. If the results are OK, replace the A/C and combination meter integrated ECU. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. If the results are not good, repair or replace the wiring harness.
