Continuity Test

- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Black 18-pin electrical harness connector from wiper/washer switch at bottom of upper steering column bracket. Remove wiper/washer switch. Note wiper/washer switch positions and electrical terminals.
- Using a DVOM, check continuity between specified terminals of wiper/washer switch with wiper/washer switch in each specified position. See Fig 1. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY table. If continuity is not as specified, replace wiper/washer switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
