Test No. 2: Wipers Do Not Operate In Lo, Hi Or Int Position

  1. Check wiper portion of wiper/washer switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If wiper/washer switch is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check front wiper motor. See FRONT WIPER MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. If front wiper motor is okay, go to next step.
  3. Check wiring harness and connectors between wiper/washer switch and front wiper motor. Also check power and ground circuits. See WIPER/WASHER in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article. After repairs have been made, perform confirmation test. See CONFIRMATION TEST .
