Inspection Procedure

- Remove the driver side junction block fuse box opening cover. Remove the ECU-IG fuse from the driver side junction block. Check the continuity of the ECU-IG fuse. If there is continuity, go to the next step. If there is not continuity, check for a short in all the harnesses and components connected to the ECU-IG fuse.
- Disconnect the theft deterrent ECU connectors. Turn the ignition switch ON. Measure the voltage between terminal T5-10 (IG) of the theft deterrent ECU connector and body ground. If there is voltage between 10-14 volts, check and replace the theft deterrent ECU. If the voltage is not as specified, check and repair the harness and connector between the theft deterrent ECU and battery.
